Starting Fall 2019-Fordham will Super Score the ACT
Fordham accepts the SAT and ACT (both without Writing) so should a student take more than one of the tests, Fordham will consider the highest score as follows:
ACT (superscored)* or SAT (superscored).
*New for Fall 2019.
Note on Application Deadline and Supporting Documentation
For Fordham University, we would like your application to be as complete as possible by the time of the submission deadline. We do understand that it is not always possible for official scores and supporting documents to arrive with the application. On or before the deadline, only the application itself must be received. Scores and additional documents should be received within two weeks of the deadline and no later than one month prior to the posted date of decision notification (by December 1st for Early Action/Early Decision and by March 1st for Regular Decision). We will be able to receive October test scores for EA/ED evaluation.

Fordham is Using one Application Platform– The Common Application
As the summer comes to a close and the new school year begins, we wanted to share some important news. We are pleased to announce that starting with the 2017-2018 application cycle, Fordham University will be using one application platform–the Common Application! We are hoping that this single application option makes applying to Fordham easier for both you and your students. Here are some of the additional advantages we hope to see as a result of this change:
- Single upload process for documents. If your school uses Naviance, we know that this will help reduce confusion that has recently resulted from multiple submission platforms.
- Easier access for students. No separate forms, essays or requirements are needed!
- The Common Application has a new Google Drive Integration that should help students save and upload their work.
We know that many of you have shared with us that a single application is a strong counselor preference. We assure you that your feedback was critical in helping us make this decision.
So now, when you think of Fordham–remember that there are three full-time undergraduate colleges, two campuses but only one application!
Please feel free to contact me if there are any questions about our application process.
